which is what I expect from a 5 star hotel. Perhaps it’s the way the hotel is laid out (with two separate entrances), but no one ever recognized us or asked how our day was, what our plans were for the day, etc. Areas for feedback: - I never felt super welcome here. great food and drink options in the executive lounge. the hotel itself (including the rooms / bathroom, lobby, etc.) is really beautiful. My husband spoke with the bartender (I didn’t catch his name) who was so knowledgeable and passionate about bourbons and whiskeys, he was awesome! - the front desk sent a bottle of champagne for my husband’s birthday which was so generous. the bourbon bar in the steakhouse restaurant was awesome. I was so grateful for this as it gave us tons more space for our 5 night stay. The positives: - we got upgraded to an absolutely beautiful suite. I really wanted to love this hotel but it fell a bit short.
